Virtual Community Meditation is Free to Readers

Join the growing Natural Awakenings reader meditation group from 6 to 6:30 p.m., March 15, via Google Meets for a Natural Awakenings NYC and Long Island Mind-Body-Breath virtual community meditation. Free to readers, attendees briefly share thoughts on mindfulness, stress reduction and general well-being, followed by 20 minutes of meditation facilitated by Natural Awakenings NYC-Long Island Co-Publisher Michael Lehrman.

“Seeing our small but mighty group evolve has been exciting since we launched this free community group in November of 2022,” says Lehrman. “It is gratifying to gain tips from our readers on breathing exercises, various meditation practices and books to read.” Lehrman’s goal is to increase the frequency of the sessions to weekly in the coming months.

Prior experience is not necessary; participants can choose on or off-camera, and the sessions are not recorded.
