What drew you to this profession? Since I was a young boy, I’ve had superb hand-eye coordination and excellent 3D spatial awareness. This is something innate, not learned. From my love of building plastic miniature models to fixing broken toys and household appliances—coupled with my interest in science—dentistry has proven to be a perfect match for my natural skill set.  

How does your work differ from others in your profession? Dentistry is microsurgery every day, working in increments of tenths of millimeters. To be a brilliant dentist requires that you’re cool under pressure. Being able to think quickly and work out of the box is essential to achieving consistent, fabulous results. 

What should someone expect from working with you? My patients should only expect one thing, that I will strive to exceed their treatment expectations.  

How is your practice evolving in 2023? We’re committed to expanding the level of professionalism that a patient encounters during their time with us, investing in the latest, evidence-based dental technologies, and attending top-notch continuing education to remain on the forefront of dental therapies.   

What is most important for Natural Awakenings readers to know? We treat our patients as if they were a family member. Being a dentist has rewarded me with humility. My role as a dentist is not limited to teeth alone. I believe it is to understand life’s uncertainty and attend to it with open arms and an open heart, and a keen skill set.
