When choosing a life path, we’re also selecting a timeline. Each timeline has predetermined different and specific outcomes. Liken this to taking a train—we need to select a destination first.

When multiple trains depart the station, they run closely parallel for a while, and we’re able to hop from one train to another. At the first junction, the gap begins to widen and continues to widen at the second and the third. As we make our choices and decisions, we may still find ourselves able to move between them. However, there will come a point in time when the tracks become too divergent, the gap too wide to bridge. It will be too big a leap to keep jumping back and forth, and a choice as to which one train—or timeline—we will take must be made.

It is at this point in the journey that we must decide what’s next for us. We can’t wait for a sign. We must feel it, go through it, and embrace it. We need to choose the life path, and then create it.

Anything out of resonance is going to be amplified, and the distortion will cause us to look within using a lens of brutal honesty. The cracking open is painful—it’s emotional, it’s spiritual, it’s physical and visceral. It’s tears and questions. It’s breaking away from all that does not serve us in all aspects of our lives. We can’t hide from this. We can’t go back to sleep.

This is where we get the opportunity to decide if we are weekend spiritualists or full-time spiritual warriors and lightworkers, fully committed to our path, in whatever direction that takes us. If we choose the process of fully aligning, we can remind ourselves of this: “I choose me, and in choosing me I choose God, and in choosing God I align with my mission. To align with my mission, I must walk my path fully, with integrity.”
