Take a Break from Holiday Stressors with Free Virtual Meditation Session

This month’s Natural Awakenings NYC and Long Island virtual community meditation group takes place from 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, December 19, via Google Meets. This free reader’s group begins with an open forum for attendees to briefly share thoughts on mindfulness and stress reduction, followed by 20 minutes of meditation facilitated by Natural Awakenings NYC-Long Island Co-Publisher Michael Lehrman.

“This month let’s all take a short break from the holiday stress with this simple, effective meditation practice,” invites Natural Awakenings NYC-Long Island Co-publisher, Michael Lehrman, who loves sharing the many benefits of meditation with the Natural Awakenings family of readers and advertisers. “It’s one of the most beneficial ways I’ve found to significantly reduce stress in my life. It’s truly been a lifesaver for me during the busy holiday season.”

Lehrman invites all to join. “Whether you’re a seasoned meditator, or just stopping by to see what it’s all about, please join us as we take some time to relax and give our nervous systems a much-needed break from the stress of the holidays,” he says. 

Prior experience is unnecessary; participants can choose to be on or off-camera, and the sessions are not recorded.
