Blue Rock School invites parents interested in kindergarten through eighth grade to visit their beautiful, fouracre campus, just 22 miles from the George Washington Bridge, at 10 a.m. on November 21 for an Information Session and Campus Tour. Blue Rock School is the Lower Hudson Valley’s only progressive, independent day school serving students in kindergarten through eighth grade. The school was founded in 1987 with the purpose of providing a rich educational experience based on a child-centered and hands-on approach that nurtures children’s innate love of learning. Class sizes are small and students engage in a challenging and creative academic curriculum which is infused with the arts, nature and play.

In addition, on November 13, from 7 to 9:30 p.m., the school will be hosting the 5th Annual Old-fashioned Family Barn Dance with contra dancing and live fiddle music at the Congers Lake Memorial Park Auditorium. All event proceeds will benefit the Ruth Schaeffer Scholarship Fund at Blue Rock School.
