Introduction to Kabbalah for People of All Faiths

Kabbalah involves a Jewish meditational practice that induces trancelike states thought to promote mental and emotional healing. Dainichi will explain how it influenced Christian mystics, enlightened thinkers and Renaissance history. The presentation will include a video documentary on kabbalah as a science, philosophy and way of life.
“This class will connect people to the mysteries of kabbalah and help them see its beauty and mission to connect mankind with God, both unraveling and decoding the Torah and our existence,” says Lazuli. Lazuli is presenting the class. “It will discuss the unanswered questions sought within churches or institutions and explain aspects of astrology, numerology, physics coexistence and quantum mechanics. Kabbalah teaches us how something as complex as language has purpose in understanding divinity.” Among the texts to be discussed are the Torah, the Bahir, the Sefer Yitzirah and the Holy Zohar. Dainichi will also provide exercises based on the teachings of 13th-century Spanish cabalist Abraham Abulafia.
