Eastover Symposium Reflects Era of Holistic Healing

This second annual event will take place June 23 through 30 at the 600-acre sanctuary and residential holistic retreat center, which is located at 430 East Street in Lenox, Massachusetts, in the Berkshire Mountains.
Eastover is not affiliated with any spiritual tradition, but aims to support the continuing emergence of holistic and ecological ideas capable of renewing our culture and leading the way to a sustainable planet, says Wang, who spearheaded the symposium in collaboration with participating grant masters and various organizations. “This event will bring much awareness to qigong and tai chi as a mindfulness practice that is accessible to all, and highly recommended by medical and healing professionals,” she says.
This year’s grand master presenters are Mantak Chia, Junfeng Li, Dr. Roger Jahnke, Daisy Lee, Lonny Jarrett, Rengang Wang, Sufu Mathhew, Dr. Penelope Klein, Dr. Paul Hannah, Dr. Mehernosh Khan, Sifu Terence Dunn, Jampa Mackenzie Stewart, Jianye Jiang and Prana Regina Barrett.
Participants can choose to attend from one to seven days, with tuition ranging from $195 to $950. Those who register for five days or more will receive 20 percent off room and board.
