Marcie Manfredonia, owner of Custom Candle Co and Bedford Hills Wine and Beer Bar, will host a free informational talk on CBD products. It will be held at the bar on October 9 at 6 p.m., with refreshments served between 6 and 9 p.m. Featured speakers will be Bernadette Bloom, founder of The Center for Aligned Healing, and Lyn West, M.D., a local authority on CBD and medical marijuana. West has more than 20 years’ experience as a physician. She practices community-based medicine and has an office in Mount Kisco. The talk is open to anyone interested in the benefits of CBD, Manfredonia says. Free samples will be available. Custom Candle Co offers a variety of CBD products, and Bedford Hills Wine & Beer Bar, which is right next store, is a perfect venue to talk about them, Manfredonia says. “The bar is a place where people can relax and socialize. We offer tasty food as well as local and organic wines and beers.” On October 31, at 7 p.m., the bar will also host its first Halloween party, featuring a costume contest and finger foods.
