Eastover Opens Doors for World Tai Chi Day
Eastover Estate and Eco-Village, in Lenox, Massachusetts, will celebrate World Tai Chi and Qigong Day (WTCQD) with a weekend retreat centered around a Saturday of free presentations, demonstrations and mini-classes offered by nationally recognized leaders of tai chi, qigong, Chinese medicine and Eastern philosophy.
This year WTCQD falls on April 25, when from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Eastover will open its doors to anyone wishing to dive into the wisdom of ancient Eastern healing traditions.
“This is an opportunity for people to learn about tai chi and qigong from knowledgeable teachers, and to discuss and experience the practical, modern applications of these healing practices,” says Eastover co-founder Yingxing Wang. Registration is required for planning purposes. The cost of lunch is $20.
The retreat, a paid event, is set for April 24 through 26 and includes meals and lodging.
