Natural Awakenings Free Virtual Group Meditation

This month’s Natural Awakenings NYC and Long Island virtual community meditation group takes place from 6 to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 25, via Google Meets.  

Mind-Body-Breath, the first collaborative local Natural Awakenings wellness initiative, began in November of 2022 and has been gaining traction ever since. This free reader’s group begins with an open forum for attendees to briefly share thoughts on mindfulness and stress reduction, followed by 20 minutes of meditation facilitated by Natural Awakenings NYC-Long Island Co-Publisher Michael Lehrman.

“I’m grateful to have a chance to spend this quality time with Natural Awakenings readers to share ideas on health and well-being, as well as the opportunity to practice meditation together,” says Lehrman. “Using mindfulness-based meditation for the group practice makes for a universally accessible style for all.” 

Prior experience is unnecessary; participants can choose on or off-camera, and the sessions are not recorded.
