Natural Awakenings Free Virtual Group Meditation
This month’s Natural Awakenings NYC and Long Island virtual community meditation group takes place from 6 to 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 13, via Google Meets.
Mind-Body-Breath, the first collaborative local Natural Awakenings wellness initiative, began in November of 2022 and has been gaining traction ever since. This free reader’s group begins with an open forum for attendees to briefly share thoughts on mindfulness and stress reduction, followed by 20 minutes of meditation facilitated by Natural Awakenings NYC-Long Island Co-Publisher Michael Lehrman.
“Fall is here. And with the shift in seasons, there’s no better time than now to implement a regular meditation practice,” affirms Natural Awakenings NYC-Long Island Co-publisher, Michael Lehrman. “I’m a huge believer in meditation, and I love sharing the simplicity of this practice with others in our Natural Awakenings family. Whether you’re a seasoned meditator, or just stopping by to see what it’s all about, please join us as we take some time to relax and give our nervous systems a much-needed break from our busy lives.”
Prior experience is unnecessary; participants can choose to be on or off-camera, and the sessions are not recorded.
