Free Lecture Series on Transmission Meditation
The first in a series of free lectures presented by Share International will be held on June 29 at 2 p.m. at Quest Lecture Hall in Manhattan. Titled “Transmission Meditation—A Meditation to Help the World,” the talk will feature Share International volunteer Irina Kurlat, who will discuss the background and technique of this unique form of meditation. She will explain how Transmission Meditation serves as both a powerful means of personal spiritual development and a potent form of service to the world.
Transmission Meditation was introduced in 1974 by one of the Masters of Wisdom, a group of highly evolved and benevolent teachers. “In this time of planetary crisis, the Masters are returning from Their ancient mountain and desert retreats to aid humanity, offering Their wise counsel to show us how to live together in peace,” explains Share International volunteer, James Weaver.
According to Weaver, a sense of oneness is growing in hearts and minds worldwide. The response to this soul impulse is a desire to serve humanity. “Transmission Meditation is an ideal practice for those who wish to serve altruistically but have limited time and energy due to their busy lives,” he says. “It provides an opportunity to work directly with the Masters of Wisdom in healing and transforming the world.”
Share International is a non-profit, non-denominational worldwide network of individuals and groups, all volunteers, dedicated to bridging the political and spiritual dimensions of contemporary thought.
