Fresh Flavors and Vibrant Innovations
Caravan of Dreams, Manhattan’s oldest vegan restaurant, has made 2025 its year of innovation. Angel Moreno, the restaurant’s founder and owner, revamped the menu with a $16 lunch special featuring flavorful dishes like the Falafel Sandwich and Dominican Tostones.
When asked about the menu changes, Moreno emphasized his forward-thinking approach to culinary creation: “Caravan of Dreams has been serving organic, pure, plant-based vegan food since 1991. Since then, many restaurants have come and gone, but Caravan remains because we are always changing, adapting and innovating, yet we still stay grounded in our fundamental principles.”
Those principles are simple: they believe food is medicine—that it can heal the body and restore the mind. When you dine at Caravan of Dreams, you’re eating vital superfoods that energize and invigorate.
In addition to revamping their menu, Caravan also installed two fresh beer dispensers, updated their website, and designed a new Spanish-inspired, romantic storefront awning that perfectly captures the essence of the restaurant.
