Natural Awakenings announces the appointment of Julie Peterson, former national content writer and editor for Natural Awakenings Publishing Corporation, to lead editorial coverage for the NYC and Long Island market.

Peterson brings more than 25 years of experience as a freelance writer and editor, with a portfolio that includes Natural Awakenings Publishing Corporation, The Earth & I and numerous organizations. Her work has focused on holistic health, environmental stewardship, sustainable food systems and conscious living—areas that resonate deeply across the diverse wellness communities of NYC and Long Island.
