Relieve Stress from the Inside Out
Zakiyyah Madyun, Certified Herbalist and founder of The Sacred Healing 7 Herb Center recommends relieving stress with the following daily practices:
Do exercise movements before getting out of bed to begin relieving physical stress.
Drink a full glass of plain water within 20 minutes of waking up to flush the system and resolve digestive stress.
Sit still and be quiet for 15 minutes every day to begin to shift emotional stress.
Be aware of foods being eaten and why to begin to tap into healthy eating and trigger the setting of personal boundaries.
“The ‘God-seed’ in each of us knows what drives our stress. This inner wisdom also holds the guidance we need to regain balance,” says Zakiyyah. “The pivotal step is to activate that guidance within and begin to reshape our own narrative.
