Transmission Meditation Event in New York City
In 1974, a new form of meditation was introduced to the world. Transmission Meditation, as it is known, is also a field of service. Millions of people around the world today are coming into a closer alignment with their own souls. The immediate response to this soul contact is a desire to serve humanity in a meaningful, altruistic way. On July 26, a free event, at Quest Lecture Hall, gives attendees the opportunity to learn about this simple group meditation. No experience is necessary.
According to the Ageless Wisdom (an ancient body of teaching as old as humanity itself, and the basis of the world’s major religions), the nature of the soul is to serve, which is why it comes into incarnation. However, most of us have little time and energy to spare after meeting the demands of everyday life. Transmission Meditation is a method for busy people to help the world in a simple yet potent manner, accelerating their own spiritual growth in the process.
We are now entering the Age of Aquarius, whose energies of synthesis engender unity and cooperation. These energies can only be sensed and made use of by groups of individuals. As Transmission Meditation fits this paradigm, it has been called ‘A Meditation for the New Age.’
This unique group service activity provides an opportunity to work directly with The Masters of Wisdom, a group of highly evolved individuals, for the healing and transformation of the world. These profoundly wise and benevolent teachers have guided and inspired humanity for millennia and are the custodians of all energies entering our planet.
The cooperative effort between the people in the Transmission Meditation groups and the Masters allow these energies to be used for the benefit of the Earth and its people. The Masters direct the energies through the chakras, or force centers, of the people in the group, stepping down the energies so that they can be more easily absorbed and utilized by humanity.
At the same time, this process, safely and scientifically conducted by the Masters, has a transformative effect on the individuals in the group, significantly advancing their spiritual development. According to Benjamin Creme, a disciple of the Master who introduced the practice, “…in one year of properly conducted Transmission Meditation, you’d make the same kind of spiritual advance as in 10 to 15 years of ordinary meditation.” There are hundreds of groups worldwide regularly practicing Transmission Meditation. It does not interfere with, and can enhance, any other spiritual practice.
