Natural Awakenings Free Virtual Group Meditation
This month’s Natural Awakenings NYC and Long Island virtual community meditation group takes place from 6 to 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 20, via Google Meets.
Mind-Body-Breath, the first collaborative local Natural Awakenings wellness initiative, began in November of 2022 and has been gaining traction ever since. This free reader’s group begins with an open forum for attendees to briefly share thoughts on mindfulness and stress reduction, followed by 20 minutes of meditation facilitated by Natural Awakenings NYC-Long Island Co-Publisher Michael Lehrman.
“I got the exquisite opportunity to experience Michael’s April meditation class, and it was beyond relaxing,” shares Natural Awakenings NYC-Long Island Editor, Erin Lehn. “Michael is a great facilitator with such a soothing and kind voice. As he guided the meditation, I could feel my stress melt away as I relaxed in my chair. At some point, I even drifted off, which is really unusual for me. But something about Michael’s voice, tone and cadence induced a state of deep relaxation. I highly recommend taking the time out of your busy day to gift yourself this experience.”
