As the year draws to a close and the holiday season envelops us with its warmth, I find myself reflecting on the profound beauty of giving—not the kind wrapped in shiny paper or adorned with bows, but the soulful giving that touches hearts, changes lives, and creates ripples of kindness that extend far beyond the holiday season.

In years past, the boys and I made it a tradition to sponsor a family each holiday season, doing our best to fulfill as many items on their wish list as we could. Nothing brought us greater joy than hand-off day, knowing that the family would soon be opening gifts they had hoped for.
